 Chapter 6.2 Krisse!
Okey, here we go again. The HDR part for this chapter is ready now. Still found one mistake I made or like to correct in the last image where I compare Russel Brown's Fault HDR technic vs. Photomatix. In the Photomatix image the sky is darker and I like to add the same Photoshop settings I made for Russel Brown's Fault HDR technic image, but I'm too busy at this moment to correct it. Will do it later today and also update the willow fence project images to this forum. Last night we got first night frost I need to collect all the plants inside I have planned to keep over winter for the next summer. So I will be back in the evening. http://krisse.tuna.fi/darkroom/dd_ch6.2.html

I decide to leave it like that. Maybe it's more natural like that. It was cloudy day.

 Re: Chapter 6.2 Krisse!
Krisse I have looked and enjoyed your work. I am totally impressed with the Russell Brown technique and hope to get time to try it out. I love the look of surrealism that comes from some HDR images and your last 3 images (the Russell Brown) have it! The first of the last 3, the buildings, are just memorable (they get in my mind and sort of stay there). I love experimenting with hdr and when taking the photos class, did some using some ideas from the book and some photomatix. The second, a set of exposures I took at Roger William's park of the Temple to Music was with one in which some people walked into the area as I was shooting. I was able to 'walk' them right out! http://rjoannej.com/basicPhotography1/photogBas4.phpI have been more than busy and sorry for the delay in commenting. I am nearly finished the ch 7 PHP and hope to get to this. School work to do today, however! Don't count me out, I will get to this!

 Re: Chapter 6.2 Krisse!
Hi Joanne! Yes I saw that you did have made HDR photo shooting in your Photographing class. Very nice images and fitting perfectly to the project. That park was wonderful area for photographing. "I was able to 'walk' them right out! " How polite people. You have done so much during this summer, that I haven't even have time for commenting to all your wonderful projects like sewing. Really professional looking works and machines. I need to visit there again, later during this autumn.
Back to HDR, yes these techniques are different everyone and suit for different kind of images. We just need to learn which technique suit for which kind of image.

 Re: Chapter 6.2 Krisse!
Thank you Carol. What's the word "carasol" meaning? Didn't find in any dictionary.

Found a new HDR software. IMO it's quite cool. http://krisse.tuna.fi/darkroom/dd_ch6.2.html

Guess my spelling was off Meant carousel Loved your work and thanks for the links... just watched the Russell Brown video.. although I don't much care for the "whacky" effects it was very informative.... I like som HDR but the more subtle ones that you can't tell that they are done. Would really love to get that book... maybe when I am in the states this spring. Carol
